About

Our project, VersaFlight is an advanced and versatile flight controller designed for all types of rockets, featuring attitude and altitude calculations. Equipped with high-quality sensors, it ensures data logging and real-time telemetry. This controller uses precise sensors to measure acceleration, angular velocity, pressure, and GPS position. It securely records data even in case of a crash and transmits it to the ground for live tracking. VersaFlight can also deploy the parachute and display data in real-time through an autonomous receiving station.

Team

Arthur Dumond

3rd grade, initiated the project, worked mostly on the mechanical parts of the rocket and the development of the flight controller and ground station software.

Alexandre Hervieu

5th grade, majoring embedded autonomous system, brought the idea of a performant flight computer, and worked mainly on it's electronic development and on the data processing.

Thibaut Breton

3rd grade, worked on the ejection system, the website and the communication of the project.
